Bonfire Permits are for within the city limits of Flagler Beach
Permits must be filled out the day of. Please do not fill out a permit in advanced or it may not be accepted.
Rules and Regulations
No fires on the beach after dusk during Turtle Nesting Season (between May 1st and October 31st), no exceptions.
Ensure there are no active burn bans city and county wide.
Fire should be contained in a metal drum or similar container, as to not leave remains on the beach.
If the fire has no container, a hole shall be dug equal to the fire’s estimated flame height.
Must have a means of extinguishment nearby; such as a shovel, bucket of water, fire extinguisher, etc.
Wood used for fire must be all natural and not contain nails, screws, or other metals.
Fire must be at least 30 feet from the dune line. If the tide does not allow this distance the fire may not be permitted.
Fire must be at least 100 feet away from designated turtle nests.
No fires are permitted between the pier and 10th Street North and 10th Street South.
Please try to keep 6 feet away from other fires on beach.
If social distancing is not possible, please consider a face mask.
