Engine 11 Responds to Two-Vehicle MVA on A1A Print E-mail

At 13:00hrs on Sunday, January 17th, "C-Shift" was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the 1900 block or North A1A. E-11 responded and arrived on scene and located 2 vehicles upright, one with moderate damage and road blockage of one lane, and established "A1A Command".

Upon further investigation there were single occupants to both vehicles and both drivers and wished to refuse medical treatment or transport.

FCFR R-41 arrived on scene and obtained one patient refusal, Engine 11 obtaining the other.

Station 11 Fire Police handled traffic control during operations and once the vehicle was removed from the roadway, all units returned to service, command terminated.
