The Flagler Beach Volunteer Fireman's Association was organized in 1926 to raise money for the department for training, supplies and additional equipment. Other areas funded by the association include the annual children's fire prevention (held at local schools and organizations), as well as the children's Christmas party. The association sends out fund raising letters annually as well as purchases fire prevention materials. The fire department in NO WAY solicits money over the phone or door to door. The association has elected officials who serve on a volunteer basis. Examples of how the association assist the department are:

  • Purchase fire prevention materials
  • Assist fire department personnel with education costs
  • Assist in equipment purchasing
  • Interview all new volunteer members

Every year, elected officials can either run again for their position or resign. Elections are held and new officials are appointed positions.
