Fire Police

The City of Flagler Beach Fire Rescue Department is fortunate to have a dedicated volunteer Fire Police unit. This unit is 100% volunteer and on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Fire Police respond to various emergencies ranging from motor vehicle accidents to down power lines. Fire Police are equipped with DOT certified traffic cones, safety vests, large traffic warning signs and many more traffic related equipment. This unit can shut down roadways, assist with traffic lights out and many more. Fire Police are often called to await the arrival of FPL (Florida Power & Light). This is a great asset to our fire side as it enables us to keep an engine in-service for other emergencies. This dedicated team of men and women are greatly appreciated by all members of the department for their dedication to team safety on calls and availability at all times to answer calls.

FP-11 is fully equipped to handle minor to major traffic incidents as well as Interstate related incidents
