The City of Flagler Beach Fire Rescue Department prides itself in having the best equipment possible allowing us to serve the citizens and visitors of the City of Flagler Beach. Below you will find all of our current, in-service apparatus with descriptions of each. Feel free to come by the firehouse and check them out for yourself first hand!
![]() Engine 11
2005 E-One Freightliner M2 Business Class 1000 Gallon Engine. Features a 1000 gallon water tank with a 1250 gallon-per-minute pump, Hurst Extrication Hydraulic Cutters and Spreaders, Cribbing, & Basic Life Support Medical Equipment. Engine 11 also carries a Thermal Imaging Camera capable of finding victims in burning buildings. A hydraulic ladder rack to assist firefighters with safely removing ladders from the engine at fire scenes. Engine 11 is equipped with a Dell laptop computer that connected to Flagler County Sheriff's Office Dispatch. This system allows personnel to receive additional information on emergency calls as well as access to the Internet for additional information. Engine 11 seats 5 firefighters and allows 4 of those to wear a 45 minute MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Engine 111
1996 Pierce Freightliner FL80 1000 Gallon Engine Features a 1000 gallon water tank with a 1250 gallon-per-minute pump, Cribbing, ventilation & Basic Life Support Medical Equipment. E-111 also features Hurst Extrication Hydraulic Cutters and Spreaders. This is a backup engine for Engine 11 and the frontline volunteer engine. It assists at structure fires, scene lighting and other emergency situations.
The engine features a top-mount pump panel, Whelen LED lightbar and Federal Signal electronic siren with a traditional Federal Signal “Q-Siren”. Engine 111 seats 5 firefighters and allows 4 of those to wear a 30 minute MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Engine 111 is equipped with an 800MHz radio as well as a VHF radio for communications. E-111 is also equipped with a GTT OptiCom GPS Traffic Preemption System to assist firefighters with navigating to emergency calls safely through traffic lights. This allows for quicker response time and added safety to the crew and the public. This engine was custom designed for the City of Flagler Beach by Pierce. ![]() Tower 11
1986 Grumman 95' Aerial Cat Features a 200 gallon water tank with a 1500 gallon-per-minute pump, 95' aerial platform, ventilation & Basic Life Support Medical Equipment. This is a first out truck for high rise incidents and multiple story structure fires. Tower 11 is also utilized for large scale scene lighting, technical rescues and other emergency situations. An on-board 12kw diesel generator allows firefighters to utilize equipment on scenes they would not normally have due to power restrictions on most trucks. Tower 11 also features multiple ventilation fans and hydraulic extrication equipment.
Tower 11 is also equipped with a GTT OptiCom GPS Traffic Preemption System to assist firefighters with navigating to emergency calls safely through traffic lights. This allows for quicker response time and added safety to the crew and the public. Tower 11 seats 5 personnel and carries MSA FireHawk 45minute SCBA's for each riding position with extra packs stored on board for extended operations. ![]() Attack 11
2004 Ford F-550 Seagrave Quick-Attack Features a 300 gallon water tank, TNT Extrication Tools, MaxiForce High Pressure Air Bags, Cribbing, and Water Rescue equipment. The attack is outfitted with Basic Life Support Medical Equipment. Attack 11 also features a winch to assist in vehicle stabilization and/or removal. Attack 11 is a front line piece of apparatus for all medical emergencies and water rescues. Attack 11 is equipped with a Dell laptop computer that is connected to Flagler County Sheriff's Office Dispatch. This system allows personnel to receive additional information on emergency calls as well as access to the Internet for additional information. The attack features a two-tone paint scheme, side-step tube rails, front bumper guard and Whelen LED light/siren package. In 2009, Attack 11 was outfitted with a new set of extrication equipment obtained 100% free through a federal grant. TNT Rescue Tools were places in service after certified factory training was completed. The system includes a TNT Twin-Simo Pump, 28" Spreaders, 25" Cutters, 20", 30" and 50" Hydraulic Rams, Ram Accessory Kit and two 30' Hydraulic Hoses. This set will be an asset to the department and citizens during emergency situations where people are trapped. ![]() Chief 11
2006 Ford Explorer Chief 11 is the vehicle provided to Fire Chief Martin Roberts. Chief 11 is used as incident command at motor vehicle accidents, fires, ocean rescues, landing zones for FireFlight and other types of emergencies. Chief 11 carries both an 800MHz radio system that can communicate with the Flagler Count Sheriff’s Office, Flagler County Fire Rescue and other mutual aid agencies. C-11 also carries a VHF radio system for communication with Division of Forestry and other agencies not yet on the 800MHz system. Chief 11 is also equipped with a Dell laptop computer that connected to Flagler County Sheriff's Office Dispatch. This system allows personnel to receive additional information on emergency calls as well as access to the Internet for additional information.
Chief 11 features a Whelen LED light and siren package with custom console. Traffic control is easily handled on scenes with help from a Whelen LED traffic advisor directional light mounted in the rear window. ![]() Brush Attack 11
2003 Chevrolet 3500 Dually Diesel 4X4 Brush Attack Truck Features a 250 gallon water tank with a 10 gallon Class A foam tank and various forestry equipment such as chain saws, axes, shovels and other tools needed to fight wildfires. Brush Attack 11 seats up to 5 firefighters. Brush Attack 11 is also used to tow the department's water rescue apparatus. Brush Attack 11 is one of two pieces of wildland firefighting apparatus housed at Station 11. Brush Attack 11 is equipped with a Dell laptop computer that connected to Flagler County Sherrif's Office Dispatch. This system allows personnel to receive additional information on emergency calls as well as access to the Internet for additional information. This unit was acquired in May of 2009. The brush attack truck is equipped with an all-LED light package, 800MHz radio, VHF Radio (for Division of Forestry) and a siren. ![]() Woods 11
1967 Military 6X6 Woods Truck Features a 600 gallon water tank and various forestry equipment such as chain saws, axes, shovels and other tools needed to fight wildfires. Woods 11 seats up to 3 firefighters. Woods 11 is one of two pieces of wildland firefighting apparatus housed at Station 11. This vehicle allows firefighters to get into area too dense for the brush truck.
The woods truck features a tubular protective cage around the entire vehicle to protect from falling trees, front deck gun for penetrating water streams and Federal Signal lightbar and all new LED emergency lighting. ![]() Rescue Boat 11
2006 Patten Inflatables 17’ Inflatable Pontoon Rescue Boat Rescue Boat 11 features a 48HP Evinrude motor with electronic ignition and trim. Some of the features of Rescue Boat 11 are the seats are removable and can be used as floatation devices. There are also 10 handles around the outboard perimeter for carrying even in the most difficult places. The bow can be opened to allow divers to enter and exit the water safely and easily. The high side-walls allow patient privacy during crowded summers on the beach. Seating arrangements can accommodate up to 12 personnel. Rescue Boat 11 carries 10 gallons of fuel for extended search and/or rescue operations, spot lights, spine board, Basic Life Support supplies and a Whelen LED light package. ![]() Rescue Boat 111
Avon Inflatable Rescue Boat Rescue Boat 111 features a 20HP Honda 4 Stroke motor . Rescue Boat 111 is utilized primarily in low tide situations in the Intracoastal Waterway where oyster beds and other shallow water conditions will not permit the larger rescue boat to enter. Rescue Boat 111 carries 5 gallons of fuel for search and/or rescue operations and Basic Life Support supplies. ![]() Ski 11
2005 Yamaha 1100FX High Output Wave Runner Ski 11 is a critical part of FBFR’s Water Rescue fleet. Ski 11 allows firefighters to get to victims in areas Rescue Boat 11 cannot. Ski 11 is a 3-person personal watercraft that is capable of speeds in excess of 50MPH. Ski 11 also features a detachable “Wahoo Board” which is used to pull victims up onto during water rescue operations. This allows firefighters to bring victims to shore safely and securely. Ski 11 carries spot lights and additional life jackets. Members train vigorously on this crucial piece of equipment to ensure the highest level of effectiveness and safety in times of emergency.

2005 Yamaha Grizzly 660 4X4 All-Terrain Vehicle ATV 11 is another vital piece of the FBFR lineup. ATV 11 is used to bring Ski11 to the beach or other areas that Brush Attack 11 cannot. ATV 11 is also used for search operations in remote areas. ATV 11 is a single person vehicle that is capable of speeds in excess of 55MPH.
